Specialist-created

Built by a practising Canadian orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist — not a general-purpose tool retrofitted for medicine. Every workflow reflects how clinicians actually work.

All-in-one platform

One login covers the entire encounter — intake, scribing, evidence, prescriptions, forms, faxing, referrals and telehealth — instead of stitching together point tools.

Safety by design

A post-visit review is designed to surface missed follow-ups and inconsistencies in your notes — a safeguard against documentation errors and AI hallucinations that scribe-only tools do not offer.

Our story

Created by specialists who felt the documentation burden themselves

QuickChart was founded by Dr. Joel Moktar and Dr. Pavel Antiperovitch, a Canadian orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist who wanted a better way to manage the growing burden of clinical documentation.

Because the people building it practise medicine, every part of the platform is shaped by real clinical workflows – from patient intake to ambient documentation, dictation, and the final note in the chart.

That clinical-first approach is the difference between a scribe that transcribes and a platform that understands the encounter — and keeps physicians in control.

One platform, the whole encounter

An end-to-end solution, not just a scribe

Most AI scribes stop at generating a note. QuickChart treats the note as one step in a connected workflow — so the work that surrounds the visit happens in the same place.

Chart preparation

PDFs, prior notes, and even photos of medication lists are pulled in to build context before the visit.

AI pre-visit intake

Structured patient intake collected before the appointment, ready in the chart.

Ambient AI scribe

Accurate, structured notes generated from the natural conversation of the visit.

Evidence & clinical assistant

In-app medical literature search and decision support, grounded in the case in front of you.

Telehealth — phone & video

Patient phone calling and video visits built directly into the platform, no extra software.

Prescriptions & faxing

Create prescriptions and send secure outbound faxes without leaving the encounter.

Forms & form filling

Automatic completion of medical and administrative forms from the clinical record.

Tasks & referrals

Generate follow-up tasks and referral letters straight from the documented visit.

Post-visit safety review

Automated review that helps surface missed follow-ups, outstanding results and safety gaps.

Evidence & clinical decision support

Decision support, built into the chart

QuickChart Intelligence brings medical literature search and evidence retrieval to the point of care — grounded in the case in front of you, with citations you can open and verify. It is the CDS layer scribe-only tools leave out.

Explore QuickChart Intelligence
  • Medical literature search

Search PubMed/MEDLINE, clinical practice guidelines, Cochrane reviews, and major journals from a single query.

  • Evidence retrieval with citations

Surface the most relevant studies and guidelines with citations you can open, verify, and cite in your note.

  • Grounded in the encounter

Answers are anchored to the clinical case in front of you — not generic web results.

Before the visit

Walk in with the chart already prepared

QuickChart pulls the scattered pieces of a patient's history into one place and builds context for the encounter — so you spend less time hunting for information and more time with the patient.

  • Referral PDFs and faxed documents parsed into the chart
  • Prior notes and past encounters summarized for quick review
  • Photos or screenshots of medication lists read and structured
  • Everything assembled into context before you start the visit

QuickChart telehealth video visit running inside the app with live documentation

See patients anywhere

Telehealth built in — phone and video, no extra software

Call patients by phone or start a video visit from directly inside QuickChart, with documentation running live in the same window. No separate dialer, no third-party video tool, and nothing for your patient to install.

In-app phone calling

Dial patients without exposing your personal number.

QuickChart video

Our own video visits, documented live as you talk.

No app required on the patient's end — they join from a link in any browser.

Prescribing, handled

Prescriptions created right from the conversation

QuickChart turns what you discuss into a ready-to-review prescription — you stay in control of every step, from draft to send.

  1. 1

    Captured in conversation

As you discuss a medication, QuickChart drafts the prescription from what was said.

  2. 2

    Pharmacy & reconciliation

Finds the patient's pharmacy and reconciles the order against their current medication list.

  3. 3

    Physician review

You review and adjust every prescription — nothing goes out without your sign-off.

  4. 4

    Sent off

Approved prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy without leaving the encounter.

Safety first

A safety net against errors and hallucinations

Every AI can make mistakes. QuickChart adds a step scribe-only tools don't: an automated post-visit review that helps surface missed follow-ups, outstanding results, and inconsistencies after the note is drafted — a safeguard for the parts of the visit that matter most.

Post-visit safety review

Automatically reviews the completed note to help catch missed follow-ups, abnormal results, and safety gaps.

Physician stays in control

Every output is reviewable and editable — the clinician signs off, never the AI alone.

Grounded in the encounter

The clinical assistant and evidence search are anchored to the case in front of you, with verifiable citations.

Real people, in real time

Live human support, right inside the app

When you have a question mid-clinic, you are not left digging through help articles or waiting on a ticket. Reach a real person from inside QuickChart and get unblocked without breaking your flow.

Talk to a real person

Live in-app support — not a bot and not a queue-only ticket form.

Fast troubleshooting

Get help resolving issues in the moment, so clinic keeps moving.

Built by clinicians

Support from a team that understands clinical workflows first-hand.

QuickChart telehealth video visit with live documentation

Built for how you practise

Workflows tailored to your specialty

Because QuickChart was built by specialists, it adapts to the specifics of your practice — custom templates, structured intake, and encounter workflows that reflect the way your specialty documents, rather than a one-size-fits-all note.

  • Custom templates shaped to your specialty and note style
  • Structured pre-visit intake tuned to what you actually ask
  • Phone and video telehealth for follow-ups and remote care
  • Prescriptions, referrals, forms and faxing in the same flow
